Ayodele Akande, Nigerian emerged best delegate in Africa at the just concluded International Youths Diplomacy Conference (IYDC) in Ghana.
The importance of sound health in human lives cannot be overemphasised as it our principal capital asset.
It was against this backdrop that the International Youths Diplomacy Conference (IYDC) organised by IFED Global, came up with resolutions for World Health Organization, who, in a United Nations (UN) simulation general assembly, on the health status of many countries of in Africa.
In this conference, one of Nigeria’s representatives, Ayodele Akande, emerged the best delegate in Africa.
University of Ghana, Legon, hosted the International Youths Diplomacy Conference themed Investing in Entrepreneurship Technology Innovations: a Curb to Youths Unemployment, which held between the 17th and 21st July, 2018.
IFED Global youths diplomacy conference, IYDC-accra, 2018 which is a simulation of the United Nations general assembly, security council and other agencies under the United Nations brought together youths across Africa to discuss pertinent issues of global interest.
He describes the conference as a mind opening event, with opportunities to gain international connections.
Akande opined Nigerians need to do more critical thinking to move the nation forward and that young people should awaken to effect the change that Africa needs to progress .
The youth conference in Ghana had in attendance over 300 youths from over 35 African countries including Tanzania, South Africa, Togo, Liberia, among others.
